Easy Bill of Sale is built with privacy-first principles. We believe your data belongs to you, and you alone. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

What Data We Collect

How the Application Works

  100% Client-Side Processing:

  All bill of sale generation happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to our servers during document creation.

• 2.
  Local Storage Only:

  Your history feature uses IndexedDB, a browser storage technology that keeps all data on your device only. We cannot access this data.

• 3.
  PDF Generation in Browser:

  PDFs are created directly in your browser using the jsPDF library. The PDF is never uploaded to any server.

URL Sharing Feature

When you use the "Share" button, your form data is encoded directly into the URL. This means:

• The data exists only in the URL itself (visible in the browser's address bar)
• We do not store or log these URLs on any server
• Anyone with the URL can see the encoded form data
• Use caution when sharing URLs containing sensitive information

Website Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic usage patterns:

• Page views (which pages are visited)
• Referral sources (where visitors come from)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Geographic location (country/region level only)

Important: Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and does not:

• Use cookies or track you across websites
• Collect any form data or bill of sale content
• Track individuals or create user profiles
• Share data with third-party advertisers

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

Since we don't collect your bill of sale data, there's nothing to retain on our servers. Data stored in your browser (history feature) remains on your device until you:

• Clear your browser data/cache
• Use the "Clear History" button in the History page
• Uninstall or reset your browser

Your Rights

Because we don't collect your data, you maintain complete control:

• Right to Access: All your data is in your browser's local storage
• Right to Delete: Clear browser data or use our "Clear History" feature
• Right to Portability: Export your history as JSON from the History page
• Right to Object: You can use the tool without enabling history

Children's Privacy

This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you're under 13, please use this tool with parental supervision.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date below. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
